In a span of 63 days, the 'Dwarf Moby's Cherry' plants, featuring rugose regular leaves, reach a height of approximately four feet. They yield bright yellow to orange-colored, slightly flattened globe-shaped cherry-type fruit, each weighing one to two ounces. With its well-balanced and delicious flavor, combined with a pleasing texture, this tomato is an ideal choice for grilling, salads, and salsas, making it a delightful addition to salads or for snacking.
Selected and named by Craig LeHoullier, 'Dwarf Moby's Cherry' originates from the "Reddy" family within the "Dwarf Tomato Project." Collaborators involved in the development of this release include Phyllis Chen, Carrie King, Jannine Cabosel, Susan Oliverson, Bill Minkey, Mike Dunton, and John Dunton. Each seed packet contains a minimum of 20 seeds.
In an effort to keep this variety available to home gardeners, 'Dwarf Arctic Rose' has been released by "The Dwarf Tomato Project" (the breeder) to the public under the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI).
