In just 85 days, 'Dwarf Wild Spudleaf' presents as a rugose, potato leaf variety, yielding good quantities of medium-sized, dark-pink fruits weighing between four to ten ounces each. These smooth, oblate-shaped tomatoes are juicy and offer a pleasant, well-balanced flavor.
This variety, developed within the "Dwarf Tomato Project," emerged from a cross between 'Dwarf Wild Fred' and 'Spudakee.' Originally bred by Vince Lavallo in 2008 under the name 'Frosty,' its development also involved Linda Black, Paul Fish, Craig Weber, Robbins Hail, Shawn Conant, Marsha Eisenberg, Craig LeHoullier, and Bill Minkey. 'Dwarf Wild Spudleaf' was introduced in 2016, with each packet containing approximately 20 seeds.
