In approximately 76 days, 'Dwarf Vince's Haze' exhibits robust, wrinkled, potato-leaf plants reaching a height of four to five feet and boasting high productivity. The tomatoes of this variety are medium to large in size, ranging from three to ten ounces each, with a flattened, purple-colored shape. They offer an intense, delicious, and well-balanced flavor profile.
The "Hazy" family originated from a crossbreeding effort led by Vincent Lavallo, involving the Dwarf Tomato Project release 'Dwarf Wild Fred' and 'Purple Haze'. 'Dwarf Vince's Haze' was carefully chosen and named by Susan Oliverson, honoring the originator of the Hazy family, Vince Lavallo. Alongside Oliverson, key contributors to the development included Craig LeHoullier and Justin Sieglaff, with Bill Minkey handling the production of the final selection seed. Each seed packet contains a minimum of 20 seeds.
