Ripening in 85 days, 'Dwarf Pico's Pride' is a dwarf tomato variety featuring rugose, variegated, potato leaf plants. These plants produce an abundance of small to medium-sized, bright yellow, oblate-shaped fruits, ranging from two to six ounces each, with a clean, intense, and delicious flavor.
Hailing from the Dwarf Tomato Project's "Acey" family, 'Dwarf Pico's Pride' marks a milestone as one of the first variegated dwarf varieties developed by the project, alongside 'Dwarf Elsie's Fancy' and 'Dwarf Walter's Fancy'. It was named by Craig LeHoullier in honor of one of his beloved cats. Contributors to its development included Timothy Noyes, Susan Oliverson, and Bill Minkey. 'Dwarf Pico's Pride' was introduced by the Victory Seed Company for the 2021 gardening season, with each packet containing a minimum of 20 seeds.
