Emerging in the late-season, 'Dwarf Laura's Bounty' is a dwarf tomato variety with regular leaf plants known for their high productivity. The tomatoes, averaging around four ounces each, boast an orange color and a paste-like texture, offering a pleasant and balanced flavor.
The "Leggy" family originated from a crossbreeding effort led by Sherry Long, involving a selection from the "Lazy" family of the Dwarf Tomato Project and 'Orange Banana'. From this lineage, 'Dwarf Laura's Bounty' was carefully selected and named by Susan Oliverson. Contributing to the creation of this variety were Dan Follett and Craig LeHoullier, while Bill Minkey grew out the release seed. Each packet contains a minimum of 20 seeds.
