In a span of 85 days, 'Dwarf Peppermint Stripes' displays rugose, regular-leaf plants that yield oblate-shaped, green fruit adorned with light and dark green, as well as pink stripes. The flesh features a vibrant green hue with some pink marbling and averages eight to twelve ounces each, making it a delicious choice for slicing.

Selected from the "Beauty family" by Craig LeHoullier, who also bestowed its name, 'Dwarf Peppermint Stripes' underwent stabilization work carried out by Craig himself. Additional assistance in this process came from volunteers of the Dwarf Tomato Project, including Michael Volk, Richard Watson, Bill Yoder, Dee Sackett, and Karl Johnson. The seed for its initial introduction in 2018 was produced by Bill Minkey. Each seed packet includes a minimum of 20 seeds.

In an effort to keep this variety available to home gardeners, 'Dwarf Arctic Rose' has been released by "The Dwarf Tomato Project" (the breeder) to the public under the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI). You have the freedom to use these OSSI-Pledged seeds in any way you choose. In return, if you save seeds or use 'Dwarf Arctic Rose' to breed a new variety, you pledge not to restrict others' use of these seeds or their derivatives by patents or other means, and to include this pledge with any transfer of these seeds or their derivatives.
