In just 75 days, 'Dwarf Kelly Green' stands out as a rugose, regular leaf dwarf, capable of reaching a height of four to five feet during a successful growing season. It yields nearly round, green-fleshed, clear-skinned fruits weighing between three to six ounces each, boasting a well-balanced, full, and delicious flavor. Notably, 'Dwarf Kelly Green' exhibits impressive disease tolerance and ranks among the more prolific varieties within the Dwarf Tomato Project.

Originating from the "Dwarf Tomato Project," 'Dwarf Kelly Green' emerged as a selection from the "Sneezy family," which resulted from a cross between 'Golden Dwarf Champion' and 'Green Giant,' initiated by Patrina Nuske Small in 2005. Originally recognized as a selection of 'Barossa Fest 2,' it was discovered and named by Craig LeHoullier in 2007, in honor of his late wife Sue's cherished uncle, Edward Kelly. The primary work on 'Dwarf Kelly Green' was spearheaded by Craig, Patrina, and Michael Volk, with additional contributions from Lawrence Andris (Australia) and Sherry Long (Alaska). Ted Maiden took charge of the final steps and seed propagation for its release in 2012. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
