In a period of 70 days, 'Dwarf Bendigo Drop' boasts rugose, regular-leaf plants that abundantly yield oval-shaped, pink-colored cherry tomatoes, averaging about one ounce each, and are exceptionally flavorful—ideal for salads and snacking.

The origin of 'Dwarf Bendigo Drop' lies in a selection made from the "Snowy family" by Gregg Muller, who also bestowed its name. The primary contributors to the subsequent stabilization work were Gregg Muller and Susan Oliverson, with valuable assistance from Craig LeHoullier and Amanda Fischer. The release quantity of seeds was produced by Bill Minkey, and it was introduced to the public in 2018. Each seed packet contains a minimum of 20 seeds.

In an effort to keep this variety available to home gardeners, 'Dwarf Arctic Rose' has been released by "The Dwarf Tomato Project" (the breeder) to the public under the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI). You have the freedom to use these OSSI-Pledged seeds in any way you choose. In return, if you save seeds or use 'Dwarf Arctic Rose' to breed a new variety, you pledge not to restrict others' use of these seeds or their derivatives by patents or other means, and to include this pledge with any transfer of these seeds or their derivatives.
