In approximately 95 days, 'Coorong Pink' emerges as a rugose, regular leaf variety, offering bountiful yields of small to medium-sized (four to eight ounce), pink fruits. These smooth-skinned, flattened-globe tomatoes are juicy, meaty, and possess a mild, pleasant flavor. The plants typically reach a height of four to six feet and benefit from support.

Developed within the "Dwarf Tomato Project," 'Coorong Pink' originated from a cross between 'Wilpena' and 'Cherokee Purple,' first bred by Patrina Nuske Small in 2008 under the name 'Plentiful.' Named after the Coorong, a coastal lagoon abundant with birdlife in South Australia, this variety saw contributions from Craig LeHoullier, Ginny Bishton, Joyce Beggs, and Bill Minkey. It was introduced in 2016, with each packet containing approximately 20 seeds.
